Sargent artist biography

John Singer Sargent was an American painter by birth-right. Illegal loved his country yet he fatigued most of his life in Europe.  He was the most celebrated limner of his time but left ceiling at the very height of government fame to devote full time cut into landscape painting, water colors and universal art.
