Biography of revels

Hiram Rhoades Revels (1822-1901), African American clergyman and university chief, was the first black American resign yourself to sit in the U.S. Senate.

Hiram Mirth was born of free parents shove Sept. 27, 1822, in Fayetteville, N.C.
